Possibility #4...Mint

As you know, I've been debating what do do with my coral/pink velvet chairs.

Until today, I was vacillating between these three choices:

i.e. fur, pink velvet or leopard.

And then I woke up and a veritable light bulb went off...

And it was a Minty velvet one.
{PS...just in case you've been living under a giant rock/bolder/crater and speaking of minty goodness...make sure you have a peak at Jenny, Nelya and Susie's new vintage/antique store...Minty deliciousness!!}

So what say you?

I'm still heavily in love with the first three choices but I'm also quite intrigued by the thought of a pale seafoam of sorts...the gold legs on these chairs, paired with the mint...making my heart skip a beat it is.

  3. OMG dont you love those moments where it just HITS you, what to do? It makes all the laborious hemming and hawing over other not-so-obvious, maybe even a little not-so-you, choices feel so stupid.

    Love the mint.

    Hey just mentioned you in my post about having such an obvious, ADMIRABLE style. Keep it up sista!

  7. Genius! I love Calico Corners Como Velvet in Gris. The website doesn't show the true color though. Try "for the love of a house" blog--master bedroom details link. You can see the beautiful velvet in a pillow & ottoman there.

  16. I'm going to go against the grain and vote no. Mint and gold is amazingly beautiful as you've proven in these photos, but I'm not seeing it in your living room. That being said, you have amazing taste and if you do it, I have not doubt it will be fab. I just prefer the furry/animal route from what I've seen of your pictures.

    Still like me? ;)
