#projectgetroomsreadyforkids- The Bathroom Plans and a Winner

Morning friendlies.

I hope you all enjoyed a beuno weekend.

Mine was good- lots of work got did.

For one, the moulding and painting in the nursery was finished...

...and here's a little sneaky peeky on that front...

Also, we finished ripping up all the carpet in the basement and I've got installers coming today to measure out for the stair runner...I'm thinking of going with this...

...or this...

As well, I firmed up plans for the bathroom down there.

Here's the grotesque befores so you know what we're starting with...

I'm hopeful that this plan...

...will make things a whole lot prettier up in there...excited!!!

I'm heading out today to finalize hardware plans and the tile has all been ordered up so we're definitely making progress...demo starts tomorrow.

For now though, I'm happily going to announce the winner of my Bright Box giveaway...

The Bright Box

A HUGE congrats to....

...Saved by Scottie...the Cupid Box is yours!!!!

Smooches.

I'm also looooving the direction for the basement. The neutral palette your going for is so amazing, it's going to look awesome. I love love love the first runner - but both are great choices so you can't go wrong! I can't wait to see the finished product!

  22. gorgeous molding detail in the lil bambino's room! I'm considering doing similar molding my family room and absolutely LOVE the style you chose! I was wondering are the walls in the room smooth or textured? I have textured walls and was wondering if I would have to have them smoothed out before installing molding.

  23. Hey Christine - I hope you are doing well! I am planning a moulding project of my own and I remembered that I love how yours turned out. Do you recall how wide the picture moulding (for the boxes) were? I'm guessing 1 or 1 1/4"? Not sure if you'll get this but if you do, I'd love a little hint :-)

    Thanks!
