I haven't told a story in a while so...it's just about that hour.
.......
Once upon a time, there was a big bang, which was followed by the realization that boys were kind of dumb (sorry boys) so the big cheeses upstairs got
smart...
The large guns also thought about colour and fab seating so waved their wands and made sure the world was full of pink and glorious wicker curly Q chairs;)
Centuries and decades went by and girls continued to rule the universe.
One of these ladies was Sally..... original girl's (seen above) doppleganger.
She loved to play the guitar in a blush outfit, while sitting in her blush room...
{via}
...swing back and forth on tire swings...especially the kind that hung from palm trees...
...play inspirational 'keep on trucking' tunes on the piano...
...walk with her friends on roads with large slopes, while carrying plastic unicorns and wearing white ruffley socks...
...play ping pong with her other real life twin...while wearing polka dots...
...and ride her idyllic flower filled bike, after shopping for hats that came in pink boxes...
Yes...Sally loved so many things.
Of course, her favourite way to spend the day was relaxing with friends.
Her backyard pool was her most beloved locale for this and her black/white Chanel inspired suit, her aces/go to look...
...Jimmy, her bestie, was often seen standing behind Sally staring off into the distance...a bit of an odd duck but she adored him.
The two spent many a day together.
And many a night out...
...though they had a hard time leaving Sally's pugs at home.
The good news on that front was that Sally usually felt Ok about parting with them each night (her and Jimmy were busy social beavers)....her little pup friends had a gorgeous place to stay afterall...
...a home that many a walker byer/blogger would use as 'dream house' inspiration in future years;)
Sally spent years decorating her palace and encorporated her most fave hue...
...into every room.
The result was nothing short of girly gorgeosity...
I don't blame her for loving that lovely skirt! I do too! And I love your stories!
ReplyDeletethank you for that! I needed a little "Christine fantasticalness" this morning :)
ReplyDeleteoh, and pinning that pink shower and heart shaped art in the dining room - LOVE!
ReplyDeleteBravo. Your stories are the bestest ever ;)
ReplyDeleteOH - I need to be that girl hanging from a rope swing on a palm tree... that would be THE LIFE. Secondly, I would like to LOOK like the girl in the sports bra playing ping pong - nice abs sweetheart. Third- that pink ceiling in the bathroom was so unexpected... I kept looking in the mirror thinking, where is that pink coming from, and there it was!
ReplyDeleteokay, you absolutely crack me up! I love this!! Too funny! Gorgeous image, too!
ReplyDeleteSally has quite the interesting life! Love the pink shower, so unexpected.

ReplyDeleteThis was the escape I needed today Christine! I adore Sally's closet + pink tulle skirt + all of the pinkness in her home! xx
ReplyDeleteSeriously, were we separated at birth??? Because I *SWEAR* me and Sally are sisters...we love all the same things and I want her life...that counts for something, right? (c;
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to pick just one of the lovely spaces above to comment on. So I won't. I love them all! Especially the pink tufted banquet.
ReplyDelete...and she lived happily ever after.... :)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Love the house...is that yours?
ReplyDeleteAnd the girl on the bike just brought me to my teens when I used to wear then the so popular "baloon" skirt! OMG I loved it and mime was white with navy polka dots...So feminine, I have to make one now and wear it before I turn 40((:
Hugs Z
