Style in Seven - Rachel of Little Bits of Lovely

Good morning lovers.

I have to apologize for not drawing the winner for the Clover Chen giveaway yesterday as promised.

I came home from my big night away with what I thought was a little large hangover, only to figure out I'm actually just sick...feeling like a large pile of poop.

Anyhoo...the good news is that you have an extra couple of days to enter.

I'll draw on Monday.

Now...on to happier news.

It's Style in Seven time...

and I'm delighted to welcome the very fabulous Rachel here today.

Little Bits of Lovely was one of the first blogs I really started loving.
Rachel is a girl after my own heart and constantly inspires with her curated pretty...she is also one of those people I just know I'd like in real life...sweet, supportive and utterly charming.

From fashion to interiors to photography, Little Bits of Lovely is one of my go to resources for finding coveted gorgeous.
It's pages are always lit up with beautiful imagery and seem to reflect Rachel's chic Australian style.

Her Style in 7 is gorgeous and is filled with so many of my personal favourites...a perfect look at her aesthetic.

Enjoy!!!

.......

Hello lovely Bijou and Boheme readers, it's Rachel here from Little Bits of Lovely & I'm excited to be visiting today & sharing my Style in 7 with you!
B&B is one of my daily reads so I was thrilled when Christine asked me to participate in her fabulous series. I had a lot of fun putting this post together, I do hope you enjoy it!

1. Classic

I love nothing more than a classic, tailored look that exudes timelessness & lasts for many seasons.

2. Stripes

The classic Breton stripe features in my wardrobe and decor numerous colours and style variations. I love them because they are so easy to mix and match and go with pretty much everything.

3. Black & White

As much as I do love colour, I can never resist the combination of black and white. Paired together they can either make a fabulously bold statement or, they can have the complete opposite effect and create a sense of minimalism and calm.  Mostly, I just love the contradiction.

4. Sophisticated glamour

I'm a firm believer that dressing up rather than dressing down is always more appropriate, a philosophy that is also reflected in my home. Whether it is a splash of leopard, a luxe candle or decadent lighting, who can resist a little bit of glamour?

5. French farmhouse

I'm definitely a city girl at heart, but on occasion I do like escaping to the country. I find there is something rather comforting about country style homes, even if it is just small touches like how flowers are presented.

6. Books

Decorating using books is an art in itself, especially when you have beautiful books - then the possibilities are endless. I'm currently crushing on tall open bookshelves that give a room a great feeling of space.

7. Feminine

Being a lover of all things pretty I adore incorporating feminine touches wherever I can. Not only do feminine touches immediately soften a room, they can also create a sense of warmth and playfulness which I find incredibly alluring!

Thank you Christine for having me today!
