I've got some very exciting new projects to share the beginnings of.
First, #projectfeelinvintage is trucking right along...the teenage boys room is well on its way to getting did.
My client just purchased the wall to wall Stark Antelope look-a-like carpet for ahem....$6.50/yard...
...very well played.
As well, she sourced this incredible round mirror...
...I mean holy mother.
What else...oh yes...for the Eames, we're going with a white and black plaid...
...and a little DIY action will be making a brass panther like thing come to life.
Much more to come.
And as work on the boy's room continues, we're also starting to think about their main hallway and let me tell you, with instructions to slather it in a bold wallpaper and go as crazy as I want...and with this amazing foundation/pieces to start with...
...she's going to be REAL good.
I literally can't wait to start this one- so many ideas already spinning in my head.
In other project news, I have a new one and thanks to these amazingly bold inspiration images...
...its also be mucho fun to put together.
And PS on the photos there...how did I not know this magic belonged to Kourtney Kardashian? I mean...is it wrong that I now sort of love her major? OBSESSED with this place...and very inspired.
And on that note, designer Jeff Andrews is now officially on my topsies list.
I'll be showing my architect this shot from his portfolio...
...and asking him to pay close attention to that striped ceiling, white panelling and glorious courtyard...
::whispers:: #projectdreamhouse might soon be ramping back up;)))))
And with that, I think I'll sign off for now...another busy day to get done...feeling blessed with business.
xo

ReplyDeleteYes, I second the stark info request--manufacturer? store? hint?
ReplyDeleteoh, please, please fix your links. I have tried in both IE and Chrome. I have been drooling over an antelope rug so if it available in wall to wall then i will get one bound. Would love to hear your source.

ReplyDeleteWould love to see the feelinvintage update! Can't view the pictures. So exciting! Holy Crap on the carpet score! Can't wait to see it come to life!
ReplyDeleteYou can get the Stark look alike antelope carpet through Elte. You just have to order a minimum sq footage. I inquired about it about 6 months ago.
ReplyDeleteThe manufacturer of the Stark look alike is Karastan. I think it was around $9 sq foot. I phoned Karastan and they told me of a few rug companies who sell it, but it turned out that Elte,Toronto was the only one who could get it.
ReplyDeleteActually it is sold through Myers carpet, the pic has a site. It is exactly $6.40 a foot;)
ReplyDeleteAlso no minimum required;)
ReplyDeleteTotally love Kourtney's style and Jeff Andrew's has always been a fav! xo
ReplyDeletecan you tell me where your florist is located? love your arrangements always and the simple ones the best
