If You Want It, Black Rooster It #21...and a New Project

As promised, I've got a little weekend shopping post action, a la...

For today, I was inspired by Black Rooster of course, along with my most favouritest style, which we'll go ahead and label, Modern Parisian Glam...

Black Rooster Decor

[Note that though many of these items will link to Made Goods from Polyvore, they are ALL available through Black Rooster and dare I say, for a much more budget friendly price...email me if there are any pieces you're interested in.]

And speaking of this 'look', I've been working away on some e-design business for a local Toronto client...so actually, I haven't really been doing e-design...it's more like design, design...but anyhoo...this new client is so entirely up my alley because the look she's hoping to achieve is just like that above and as such, I've named this work #projectbistrochic.

To date, I've completed 2 of 3 room designs.

First, the kitchen...in this space, we'll be working with the existing layout and re-facing the cabinets...I'm hoping to achieve something along these lines...

And then, for the adjoining family room, I'd love to achieve a similar feel with even a little more glamour...

After we square away all of her selections for these two spaces, I'll also be completing a design concept for her master bedroom.

Stay tuned for some big before/after transformations...really quite delighted to be working on something that's so up my wheelhouse as it were.

And god dammit, one of these days I'll get a bust on a pedestal in some clients house...I've added this element to a few design boards but as of yet, no takers...hoping this place is the one...cross fingers for me.

And with that, I'll sign off for now and wish you all a beuno weekend.

  1. I think my commit to black + gold is my longest design relationship. i'd willing take any of these designs - bust on a pedestal and all! #obsessed

  2. These are gorgeous! I just moved into a new apartment and I'm going for a similar aesthetic.

Smooches to everyone who perservered and left a sweet comment anyways! xoxo
