I've got murals on the brain today- sort of dreaming of some giant something on my new/soon to be/when husband gets a new job office/studio.
Now we all know that this sort of thing can go wildly wrong...it can of course, also go VERY right...
The zebra and panther makes me crazy...as does the watercolour heaven above...would love either in my office.
Also, since I also like to think of others....
I see lottery tickets in my near future;)

Okay these are all amazing. I can't decide which one I like best...although I am really drawn to that large map.
These are all super amazing! I live the mosaic tile mural on the fireplace, that whole room is divine.
My favorite thing in my house is my mural in the master bath! "Violet" I am just in love with her! I am thinking about doing something in my dinning room but just not sure what to do...great inspiration :)
I'm totally on board with this one... I would LOVE a mural at home... probably chinoiserie or maybe a renaissance painting... Hope all is going well on your side of the world :)

Oh, I love them. Each one. The intensity of them is breathtaking. But how does one become brave enough to spend the time and money to put a mural on a wall, or on all the walls, when it could be terrible? How can one be guaranteed that it would be as awesome and breathtaking as these?
That watercolor one is amazing!! I'd love something like this in a home office. Beautiful images!
love a good mural and you just showed me a ton that i hadn't seen before. major inspiring. my only concern is that you can't take it with you IF you ever move... that's my concern. i know you plan to stay put though, so get to it!

I would love to have chinoiserie wallpaper in my home some day! I'd do a whole room though, not just a wall.

I'd love to have a mural in my future house for sure...the only problem is ...where would you find someone to paint that or wall paper? It's so difficult to find them!
