As you're reading this I'm en route to PEI in hopes of being by my Nana's side for the last few days she's here with us.
I'm sad in a way I've never felt and am holding on to all the gorgeous memories I have of a woman whose life was absolutely filled with grace and love.
Things will be quiet around her while I'm gone...didn't really have the time or inclination to throw some guest posts together.
So...I'll leave you with a few words and many, many thank yous for all the support...means the world to me.

I wish you lots of strength and ability to say to her what you need and want to say...at least when my grandma got ill and we knew she is too sick to live, I was very young and did not know how to deal with such emotions and how to handle myself and how to even talk to her...it was haunting me for long and i wish you a very proper and the way you want it...goodbye with your nana....hugs Z

So sorry to hear about your Nana. Fingers crossed that you arrive in PEI safely and are able to spend some precious time with her.
My grandma was my best friend - she was the matron of honour at my wedding a month after she had a stroke. Losing her was so hard, not only because I loved her so much, but she was also the one last special woman in my life after my mom died.

So sorry Christine. This post had me welling up thinking about my Grandma. So beautiful.

Very new to your blog. I am very sorry to hear your news. Do you mean PEI, Canada? My grandmother, who I also called Nana, was from there as well -- Montague. Many warm lovely summers were spent there. What a beautiful place.
