Royal Wedding Week - Crowns...and Ann Carrington

It's Wednesday people- that means that in less than two days, we'll witness a girl turn into a real life princess, right before our very eyes.
And when she does, we'll see her emerge from the church wearing one of these...

{I'm stealing the trick Meredith's used today as I'm exhausted from kids/guest posts/life at the moment- all photos can be found here on my Pinterest crown board }

Of course, I'll be wearing my little crown of sorts while I watch...just because I can, it being 3am and all.
It's a Regina B. piece I originally purchased for my wedding but didn't end up wearing (sshhh...there were a few of those things- anyone want a pair of unworn Vera Wangs??:)

Or maybe I'll just do this...

or not.

In reality, my only real chance at a crown is more along these lines...

Have I mentioned that along with loving all things royal wedding, I also LOVE Sixx Design???!!!

I want that artwork by the enormously talented Ann Carrington- like beaucoup.
I'm going off on a tangent here but check out her STUNNING sequin infused crowns.

Pearly Crown Jewels of England

Although I couldn't dream of an original, limited edition prints of these beauties are available and are a very reasonable 300pounds.
Yes, I think one of these might just be the only crowing glory my house will ever see.

LOVE Ann Carrington! Jog by the Novogratz townhome on the West Side Highway often. Not sure that's what I'd buy if I had $25 million to spend, but it's cool nonetheless!

Loving all the royalness of this post! Can't wait for Friday and to see for the first time in my lifetime a lady become a princess. How spectacular- I think us Americans should have a royal family but I suppose that's one of the main reasons we left in the first place!!!

Ann Carrington offers prints? I had no idea! Her work is fabulous and I remember first falling for it on the Novogratz show Nine by Design. I sure hope the show returns for season 2 soon! xo

Well you may feel exhausted, but you have managed to pull together an absolutely stunning collection of crowns ~ so I tremble to think what you would have done if you weren't tired!

So much to love here, but those artworks are twinkling in my imagination! So fun!

The artwork looks amazing! Esp the colored one. Fabulous on a blank wall. You've gathered some great crown images. For me a crown makes me think of a fairytale or movie. Hard to believe some people actually have to wear one on occasions;)
