I was stuck in bed all day with the some kind of sickness yesterday and am still feeling rather gross so a short and sweet post today.
If you have been following along on Twitter, Meredith and I have been busy exchanging tweets about the kitchen reno and we've hashtaged the discussions #projectkitchengorgeous.

For now, I promised an update on the marble selection process so here's a little look at what I say on Saturday.
I've decided to keep the selection a secret for now but I can tell you that one of these 5 selections is going to make it's way into my kitchen.
Roar.

Absolutely gorgeous, of course. As for my guess for the kitchen counters... I love the quartz like quality of 1, and the drama of 2. Your knockers (haha) are gorgeous! Hope you're feeling better. xo
Oh, they're all beautiful, but I love #2. The knockers are fabulous!!
Omg... I have a bunch of those lion knockers in a box somewhere! Took them off of a dresser that I refinished for Beckett's nursery!
I think you pick $ 4...Also, love you knockers! lol.
Those door knockers must have you smiling every time you use them - hope you are feeling better!

eek!! I love ALL of them. Can you use them all? You should. Haha.
I'm so excited to see the finished product
Love your lion heads! I was hoping to switch out my regular ring pulls for lion ring pulls, but I wasn't happy with the quality of the ones I ordered. (Richileu) Maybe I'll check out Lee Valley.
Hope you are feeling better!
Love all of the choices - can't wait to see which one you pick. Get well soon!
ooooh - marble! are you switching to only white wine ;) gorgeous!! Love your knockers. May have to bookmark those. Hope you feel better soon.
All of that marble reminds me of Istanbul, where my mother broke her wrist slipping on our marble floors. Those lion door knockers are gorgeous!

Hope you feel better. I can so relate, must be going around Canada :) I love marble in the kitchen! I have been following your tweets and my curiosity is peaked!

That marble is gorgeous Christine! I can't wait to see how it all comes together. And those door knockers are amazing...is it weird that I go to a funny place when I say (or write) "knockers". Ha ha
Roar, indeed! Love your knockers! ;)
Any and all those marble options will be killer!
Love, love, love all that marble. Number 3 is my favorite! Hope you feel better soon.
Lovely! So glad you're going with the marble! I just found out we'll be moving in the next 6 months, so I'm looking for houses with really ugly, outdated kitchens so that I can remodel one again!!!! :)
Marble tease. That's cruel ;) But I DO LOVE those knockers. Woohooo.
My guess would be either 1 or 4.....and love me some Lee Valley! Feel better...when you are sick it is so hard to imagine feeling good!
Can't wait to see the final outcome! And I'm in LOVE with those door knockers! Hope you feel better soon, sweetie :)
ROAR indeed!!!! amazing knockers. ha
Can't wait to see your black doors too!!!!
There's nothing I love more than a kitchen re-do and with carrera marble no less (my favorite!) can't wait to see the finished room!
i love the how the veins run in the marble in picture #2... can't wait to see the reveal!!!

I'm guessing slab #2, but they're all gorgeous. Nice knockers ;)

I am so jealous/ thrilled for you- I think that great marble in the kitchen is the ultimate luxury- I'm obsessed! Your kitchen is going to be STUNNING! I can't wait to see the finished project.
gorgeous panels. i really love the 3rd one. so graphic.
looking forward to seeing the end result!
You picked out some really gorgeous slabs. Can't wait to see which one you chose. So much fun!
Roar is right!! Love them!! Ugh - I can't believe your keeping the marble selection a secret!! I'll just have to wait patiently!! :)
I love the flowing movement of the second slab! My second fav is the 3rd slab. It's movement is not as feminine and glam as my first pick though. I think you have selected the 2nd slab.
If you do go for the more expensive marble (oh, please do!!) why not rough in the wine fridge..there was something else you where going to have to give up..so that when you have the cash you can add them? Put a cabinet door over the hole where the wine fridge should be until...it is. Sorry, I've got a migraine so my thought process is a bit fractured like the 3rd slab rather than flowing like the second. Ha!
I can not wait to see the finished kitchen!
*bisous*
